All of the parts can be replaced making this a tool that will last a long time. The hammer face is made of a tough super plastic material that is ideal for safely hitting steel wedges. This will eliminate sharpen al, sparks, and mushrooming that could occur when hitting steel wedges with traditional steel axes. This will also increase the life of your trusty steel or plastic wedges. This Axe is perfect for felling large trees that require wedging. The Axe blade also features unique raised "ribs" that help split wood more effectively. The high quality forged steel blade comes with a sharp edge and leather sheath.
